A community bike build telling Mental Health stories

Ride to Clear

We Need Your HELP

  • Communicate the message and advocate for Mental Health
  • Support our sponsors
  • Help fund the build by donating

We’re proud to launch a powerful new project: Ride to Clear, dedicated to help change the stigma around mental health.

This custom build, brought to life by Foundation Moto, Johnny DCycles, and Team Wheelhouse is more than just a motorcycle—it’s a symbol of brotherhood, healing, and shared strength.

In the motorcycle world, there’s an unspoken bond—a sense of unity, freedom, and respect. This build will honor that spirit, reminding us that we’re never riding alone when it comes to mental health.

The process will be documented, not just to capture the craftsmanship, but to tell the real stories of those involved. These stories—about struggle, survival, and triumph. We will ride alongside the bike as a living message: It’s okay to talk. And it's okay to ask for help.

Together, we’re building more than a bike.

Mental Health and Motorcycles?

Riding a motorcycle can be incredibly beneficial for mental health, offering a unique combination of freedom, focus, and camaraderie. The open road provides an escape from daily stress, allowing riders to clear their minds and embrace the present moment. The need for concentration while maneuvering through curves and traffic fosters mindfulness, reducing anxiety and improving mental clarity. Beyond the ride itself, the motorcycle community fosters a strong sense of brotherhood—riders look out for one another, share experiences, and build deep, lasting friendships. This bond creates a support system that combats loneliness, boosts confidence, and reinforces a sense of belonging, all of which contribute to improved mental well-being.

About the upcoming documentary

Two wheels and endless freedom—Ride to Clear dives into the raw, gritty world of motorcycles and mental health, following riders from all walks of life as they carve their own paths through chaos, seeking purpose, connection, and peace.

Wheelhouse Media will leverage relationships and our own gear to produce this documentary. Directed by Elliot Wilks and Chris Waltman, with DP Hunter Buchanan at the helm, Ride to Clear will be both beautiful and poignant. EPs John Allred, Adam Colborne, and Team Wheelhouse’s Executive Director, Chris Shearer, will keep the wheels of production turning, overseeing budget, personnel, and the production schedule.

Through stories of loyalty, grit, and the unbreakable bond between man and machine, this documentary reveals how the rumble of an engine can silence the noise, erase the weight of the world, and set the soul free.

The series climaxes with Ride to Clear’s first ride—a powerful moment of triumph, symbolizing the road to healing and the understanding that, just like on the highway, no one should navigate mental health alone.
